Meet the Studio

Selma Studios is a digital interior design consultancy based in San Francisco. We work with clients entirely online, wherever they live, helping them make their homes feel more like them, one room at a time.

The Designer

Georgia Douglass

New York raised, San Francisco based.

Georgia spent her whole life in New York before moving to San Francisco five years ago. Her work draws on both cities: the collected, lived-in feel of a New York City apartment, and San Francisco's effortless charm and character.

Her stylistic approach is Artful Contemporary Design with a Playful Edge, but her favorite part of the process is making each space unique to what each client gravitates towards. She believes in filling each room with personality and authenticity, making sure every design choice is intentional. And of course, she makes sure the process is actually fun for everyone - taking any stress away from her clients.

Why Selma Studios

The studio is named for Selma, Georgia's grandmother and a lifelong New Yorker whose style was flawless. Her wardrobe and her home were polished but never precious, and always authentically her. We carry her point of view into every room we design.
